In November 2021 I got a chance to spend a wonderful week in Malta.
Thanks to the participation in Erasmus+ program I could have travell and study at once.
I chose a course called Go IWB! in Alpha School of English in Malta, St. Paul´s Bay.
Alpha School of English website
Our course was about using new technologies in the classroom so we discussed new approaches and current issues concerning this topic within our countries and Europe. We shared good practice with each other and inspired one another in many ways. With our great tutor Sarah we tried out many actual applications and websites and we also had time to produce our own materieals as teachers. This is great because we can use it immediatelly when we are back with our pupils and colleagues. Every day I had a special lesson with wonderful Maria on using interactive whiteboard and with her I created a presentation full of activities for WB. I can´t wait to try it out in my classroom with my pupils.
Apps and websites we have learnt to use:
1. Nearpod
Here we worked with collaborative board, videos that you can stop and ad an information or question.

Great to present anything in an interactive and shared way.
This is a short spot of my own material.
2. Thinglink
With this website you can add pictures and images and provide it with the number of informatíon or question with motivating icons or numbers as you want your students would follow them.
3. Blogger
This is a great website where you cen present or refer to your experience, stories etc. You can see it just here reading it right now.
4. Quizlet
Whithin this application you can do quizes for your students, it will make teams for you and the students xan study the answers. A big fun!
5. ActiveInspire
Every day I studied with Maria this IWB softeware and program, where you have many tools how to present via IWB and make your lesson even more attractive.
There was much more in the course but I stated those I am going to use when I am back at my classroom.
And what made the week even more special was that it all happen on such a beautiful place as Malta. I had a chance to see its several best places, taste delicious food and drinks and appreciate the locals´ hospitality and kindness.
I will certainly come back for more .. :-))))
